Listless Monday, Twisted Tales Edition

Listless Monday was inspired by both Amanda at A Bookshelf Monstrosity's feature Books by Theme and Court at Once Upon a Bookshelf's Listed feature.  Be sure to check out their lists!

I've been wanting to do this list for a while, but kept putting it off!  Now, thanks to some suggestions from the fabulous librarians at yalsa-bk listserv (again), here are some great books with a twist (but not really twisted fairy-tales - they need their own list):

Twisted Tales:

The Adoration of Jenna Fox by Mary Pearson
Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
The Changeling Sea by Patricia McKillip (suggested by Andie)
Define Normal by Julie Anne Peters
The Demon's Lexicon by Sarah Rees Brennan
Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card (suggested by Emily)
The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale (suggested by Emily)
The Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling (especially Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince)
Genesis by Bernard Beckett
I Am the Messenger by Markus Zusak
Identical by Ellen Hopkins
Impossible by Nancy Werlin
Incarceron by Catherine Fisher
Invisible by Pete Hautman
Liar by Justine Lebalestier
The Maze Runner by James Dashner

The Queen's Thief series by Megan Whalen Turner

Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
Variant by Robison Wells

Any twisty books you'd like to add?

If you buy through my Amazon linkage, I will get a very small percentage
