I'll be the first to admit, I am not a fan of scary books. I don't usually read books that I know will freak me out. (Obviously, I don't watch scary movies for the same reason - they freak me out more.) But, I do enjoy, now and then, a spooky or creepy book that gives me just the right amount of chill factor, but won't give me nightmares.
